• Good day,

I have a problem regarding to the url of the pages that I restored from my trash. The restored pages includes “_trashed” on url/permalink of the page and I can’t seem to removed it. How can I remove it? I’ve got 5-6 pages that I restored from the trash and has that “_trashed” on their url/permalink?

You can edit a post’s slug in the editor to remove “_trashed”. It’s easier and faster to use the “Quick Edit” view on the post list table to do so. If the restored post’s original slug is used by another post, you cannot just delete “_trashed”, you’ll need to add something distinct. “-2” or “-3”, etc. will suffice.

BTW, adding “_trashed” is not default WP behavior. WP uses the original slug if it has not been taken, and appends “-2” etc. automatically if it had been used.
