Edit Icon showing up

  • Hi ..

    I new to wordpress .. and obviously don’t know what I’m doing.

    I created a template with Artisteer ..I specifically disabled the Article edit button..

    I successfully uploaded the template .. however the edit icon shows up live and I’m not sure how to remove it.

    Also ..I’m having some brain issues .. and can’t figure out how to remove the RSS feed.

  • I don’t see an ‘Edit’ button. Possibly it only shows up for registered users and hopefully only those with editing privileges. The link should be easy enough to remove though. Look around the theme for edit_post_link. Usually it should be in index.php or single.php, but I’m not familiar with how Artisteer builds these things.
