Adding additional WooCommerce fields

    Hi,

    I’ve stared using your User Registration plugin with WooCommerce Integration add-on on my website running by WoodMart theme. The main reason why I’ve decided for the plugin is because of customizing the WooCommerce registration form – there is needed more fields than just the default three ones.

    This is how the registration page (WooCommerce my account page) looks like without using your plugin:

    Please notice, that there is one extra field called ‘Title’ added. It was added by another plugin and that’s a behavior I would expected by your plugin – just customizing original registration form by adding, moving and deleting fields. But this is the result I get when I in User Registration -> Settings -> WooCommerce chose registration form and check option ‘Replace registration page’:

    As you can see, the style is different. Now both, login and registration forms are at the same page. I would expected similar behavior as in the first image. Style of the forms would be preserved, only extra fields would be added. Am I doing something wrong?

    And please let me ask one more question, how to redirect page after login in woocommerce_my_account. You know, I don’t want to use login on separate page, but on WooCommerce my account page. Actually, in the same login page as is visible in images above.

    I would expected, that also this shortcode could be working properly [woocommerce_my_account redirect_url="sample-page"], but not. Only this one [user_registration_my_account redirect_url="sample-page"] is, why? How to redirect WooCommerce login? Is it possible?

    Thank you for such a detailed ticket. It really helps in understanding the issue clearly. Anyway, coming back to the query, If you want a short answer then it is not possible to do both the things that you mentioned.

    In the first case where you expected extra fields to insert in the default WooCommerce Registration form, it is not possible to do so. With the User Registration Plugin, you will need to create your own registration form and you can use all those fields that you want to have. Even you can use the WooCommerce fields in the registration form.
    Because we have a lot of customization options for the fields and different features for the registration process, it is not possible to do like you said since it would not let you use the customization options.
    You can simply insert new fields using custom code and hooking into the WooCommerce Registration Form without the UR plugin but again, you will not be able to use the UR plugin features.

    Regarding your other question about redirection, the shortcode parameter won’t work for WooCommerce Shortcode as it is not developed to work with the WooCommerce shortcode. The parameter will only work with the UR account shortcode.

    We can integrate with WooCommerce only with the options provided by them but we cannot change their functionality.
    Lastly, the styles are inherited from the theme but if you want some changes to it then you can always customize it with either custom CSS or with the User registration Style Customizer add-on.

    Thank you very much for your help. It gave me answers to my uncertainties. I will have to customize CSS to fit my style needs, but never mind. I really like to working with UR.
