    Hi,

I have been trying to replace my default theme search box with yours and I tried a couple of tricks with no success so far. I am using electro theme. Is there any way to make it work and replace the theme search box with yours?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Did you try to enable ‘Seamless integration’ option from the plugin settings page?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the response!

Yes, I tried the seamless integration option but it didn’t work as expected. I got the Advance Woo Search Box behind the theme’s search box which resulted in two search buttons beside each other. The search worked fine though but the box is unpleasing. I wanted a clean box style that your plugin provides but it is inheriting the theme along with the default search icon.

When enabling ‘Seamless integration’ option for electro theme all standard theme search forms must be replaced with AWS plugin ones and all forms styles also must be the plugins ones.
This is not happens for you? Can you please give me the screenshot ( or better the page link ) where I can see how plugin search form looks for you.

Hm, as I see there is some custom css on your site that was added to made AWS search form to look like standard theme search form.

That must be by the theme author itself as I haven’t added any custom CSS related to the search form anywhere in the site.

Yes, looks like theme authors add some support for AWS plugin so it looks like theme default search form.

In this case the only way for you to return default plugin styles is find inside them all styles that is starts with .aws-container and remove them.

    Regards
