Change from Development Version?

  • Somehow I am on a Development Version of WP……can someone tell me how to convert to the normal WordPress so I can just update when indicated on the Control Panel? Or do I need to do this? I need to stay stable as it is a client site.

    Currently using WordPress 2.9.1-beta1.

  • Edit your version.php file to “2.9”, then use the Tools > Upgrade, “Re-install automatically” option to pull that version down.
