Error establishing a database connection

    Hi guys,

    I something went wrong and I am not sure what caused it but my site is giving me an error as follows. Error establishing a database connection. Any suggestions how to fix it or how to reset it? It would be nice to not loose all my current themes and content on the database?

  • Hi! Did you migrate your website from other domain or from localhost? Or what you did before you notice this?

    I will suggest to check the wp-config.php to see if the database name / user / password are correct ??

    Hi Adi,

    Thank you for your response. I have noticed that my password was different than the one in my wp-config.php file as you mentioned. I have updated it and it works fine again.
