AIOWPS was installed and worked fine until I enabled reCaptcha within the program.
I had forgotten that reCaptcha was already running from within another plugin.
When I tried to log back into my site I have 2 reCaptcha elements on screen but cannot log into my site as it reports invalid username or password.
I disabled AIOWPS via FTP and can now get back into my site but obviously cannot access AIOWPS plugin to amend the settings.
How can I reset AIOWPS to remove the reCaptcha settings when I cannot run it on my admin screen?

    Regards
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Are you saying that if you activate the plugin while you are logged in as administrator, the plugin will lock you out?

    Hi,
Yes, as soon as I enable the AIOWPS plugin the connection drops out from the server and it requests I login and again fill in the reCaptcha.
It then fails to allow me to login stating incorrect username or password. Actually it says ‘invalid log in credentials’
There must be some way of cancelling off all the settings made within AIOWPS ?
    I just can’t figure how?

    Regards

If I could find where the settings are stored within the /wp files I could delete them ?
Where are the settings stored for AIOWPS ?

    Hi,

I think your best option is to reset the plugin and start from scratch. The following documentation how-to-reset-aiowps-plugin should help you.

Let me know how you go.

    Thank you

When I click on ‘settings’ I get this message –
Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

Hi, are you logging in as an administrator? If you are and you receive such message, you might have to disable all plugins except the reset one. Then try to reset AIOWPS.

    Kind regards

I’ve been through the removal of database entries and tried then to re install AIOwps and I’m back to square 1 with 2 reCaptcha windows and a failed login attempt with a reply of
    invalid login credentials

Where do I go now ?

    Regards

I’ve renamed the plugin folder via FTP and managed to get back into WordPress.
I enabled the ‘fix’ plugin you sent and the renamed the AIOWPS back to the correct name and attempted to then run the ‘settings’ and again I get the following
‘Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.’

Not sure what to do now ?

I absolutely want to run the AIOWPS plugin back am stuck at the moment trying to clear the double reCaptcha and ‘Invalid login credentials’

    HELP !

Hi, it looks like you are running into too many issues. So I recommend the following instructions remove-all-in-one-wp-security-database-tables. This will allow you to totally remove any trace of AIOWPS. Afterwards you should be okay to install a fresh copy of AIOWPS again. Let me know how you go.

    Thank you

AIOWPS must be writing instructions somewhere else within the system for it to keep re-creating the same problem even after all elements have physically been deleted and removed. But where ?

Been right through all of the suggested clean out options and still if I enable AIOWPS on my site it comes back with 2 reCaptcha screen and then Invalid Login Credentials.

    I give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi,

I had forgotten that reCaptcha was already running from within another plugin.

Did you disable the other plugin which has the reCAPTCHA feature? Did you also disable the reCAPTCHA feature in AIOWPS plugin as well?

    Regards

    Hi Again,

Still having issues but have got myself into a right pickle now.

I found this when I enabled AIOWPS :-
    https://newnbs.national-begonia-society.co.uk/wp/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fnewnbs.national-begonia-society.co.uk%3A443%2Fwp%2Fwp-admin%2Fplugins.php%3Factivate%3Dtrue%26plugin_status%3Dall%26paged%3D1%26s%3D&aiowps_login_msg_id=session_expired

So thinking I was on the right track I looked back at a backup from a few days ago and found an SQL that didn’t contain that – ‘session expired’

Thinking that if I restored that .SQL I would solve the issue I did exactly that from within the WordPress Dashboard using the backup/restore feature.

Now I’ve lost ‘all the dashboard’ ?

Any ideas how to get it back?

    Thanks in advance

Hi Mike, sorry about your issue. However I am not sure I can help you anymore because this is beyond the scope of this support forum. Your issue is now related to your whole site. You will have to speak to your host and ask them to restore your site from a previous backup.

Let me know what they say?

    Thank you

    Hi,
That is what I have asked them to do now.
Strange though that there is the reference to AIOWPS in the Admin folder of WP which in turn wrecks the plugin removal process.
Perhaps it’s something to report back to the plugin developer.

Thanks for all your help. I’ll report back if I ever manage to get my website running again.

    Regards Mike
