Cannot import previous blog xml file.

  • I had exported an old WordPress site but it will not import. I updated to 2.9 and all went well but when I try to import from Tools|Import I receive a generic error message:
    Sorry, there has been an error.

    Not sure what the 6 stands for but I would really like to get all my old blog info on this new one. The xml file is 31 KB in size.
