Table Press – Row filter extension

    Hi Tobias

    The TablePress extension won’t work for me. When I go to install it I get the message:

    “Unpacking the package…

    The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature ”

    Any chance you can see if there is a problem with that extension

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    This indicates that you directly uploaded the PHP file of the Extension, and not its ZIP container.
    This might have happened if you used Safari as your browser, which (depending on a setting) automatically extracts ZIP archives that it downloads.
    Please try turning that off and download the ZIP archive again and then try installing that .zip file as a plugin.

    Hi Tobias – yes I was in safari. Have just downloaded in chrome and it is a zip. Uploaded perfectly. Thanks so much! Great plugin. Cheers

    Hey Tobias – I have had a play with row filtering. Does it work when you have merged rows or columns? Cheers

    Hi,

    yes, it should work then, but you should definitely test it with values in such merged rows/columns, to see behavior. For example, it will only remove one row if the filter value is found in a rowspanned cell.
