I have a test site with twenty twenty theme and updraft central, nothing else. I can’t connect to one remote site but other sites work.

The test connections for the problem site says:
    DirectFailed (http_post_fail)
    Via mothership (encrypted from the browser)Failed (unexpected_http_code – 403 – Forbidden)
    Via mothership (encrypted at the mothership)Failed (unexpected_http_code – 403 – Forbidden)

    Developer console says:

Access to XMLHttpRequest at ‘https://sample.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=updraft_central’ from origin ‘https://mysite.org’ has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn’t pass access control check: The ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header contains multiple values ‘https://mysite.org, *’, but only one is allowed.

How do I troubleshoot the remote site problem?

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

Can you please check and sure the remote site is not behind firewall and password protected?

There’s no firewall. The site is a membership site but admin login and many of the pages have no restricted content.

    Hi,

Can you try to delete and reconnect the site to UpdraftCentral? Also, may I know if you are using the UpdraftClone Cloud or the self-install?

    Regards,
    Bryle
