I have setup the Woocommerce Stripe plugin NOT to capture the charge immediately. So when an order comes in the card gets authorized and the order is “On Hold”.

I then change the status to “Processing” so that the Shipping Supplier (using the Woocommerce Dropshipping extension) will be notified of the order.

My problem is that when I set an order to Processing the credit card is charged through the Woocommerce Stripe plugin. Instead I’d like to charge the card only when the order status is set to “Completed” (i.e. the order has been shipped).

Is there a way to accomplish this?

    Hey there!

Changing when the Stripe plugins captures the payment is not something that can be easily done. It would require a custom plugin made for your site that changes what action triggers the capture.

Hopefully that helps! Have a great one!
