I want a list like -> Apartments, Villas, Independent Houses, Rented Houses.

The categories I have assigned for each property in my site, that list.

You can specify your categories using a shortcode as well:

[es_my_listing category="category name"]

in your case it will be:

[es_my_listing category="Aparments,Villas,Independent Houses,Rented Houses"]

So this will be hardcoded, as and when I update the categories in my site, I will have to update this shortcode. It’s not dynamic to get the list of categories is what I am asking?

No, it’s not dynamic. If you change the category names, you will have to update them in the shortcode.

Oh that’s sad, maybe you could add this in the next upgrade if possible.
