    ESPA?OL:

    Buenas tardes.

Gestiono varias web, pero nunca me había pasado esto antes. Se trata de que Google no muestra los snippets que están hechos en Yoast SEO.

He leído en varios foros posibles soluciones, y he probado varias de ellas pero sin ningún resultado.
    1. Borrar caché con Total Caché
    2. Actualizar plugins y temas

    ENGLISH:

    Good afternoon.

I manage several websites, but this has never happened to me before. The problem is that Google does not show the snippets that are made in Yoast SEO.

I have read in various forums possible solutions, and I have tried several of them but without any results.
    1. Clear cache with Total Cache
    2. Update plugins and themes
    3. See if the source code is wrong – This would not know very well if it would be the problem, if you think this could be, how should i do that?

From what I have seen, it seems that the plugin is well configured, but I do not know what may be happening. I would understand (as I read in forums and posts) that Google does not always take Snippet content for quality or others reasons, but I doubt this is the problem, since this happens to me with all post entries (but only with the Snippet, the title shows without problems).

Anyone who knows what may be happening?
Thanks in advance to the community!

In regards to the issue you are experiencing, we checked on the page ### and did confirm that Yoast is outputting the following meta description:

<meta name="description" content="Somos una Agencia de Marketing Digital en Madrid. Expertos en marketing digital, dise?o de páginas web, posicionamiento en buscadores, gestión de rrss..." />

Can you please confirm whether this is the same meta description that you entered in the Snippet Editor of the plugin?

Whereas Google typically uses the meta description from the metadata for indexing, this is not always the case. Google will sometimes modify or ignore the meta description when it sees fit. This is not due to the plugin not functioning as expected, but rather is due to Google using another value for the meta description it indexes as it’s algorithm has concluded that there is a better version to index. We have additional information on this here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/my-meta-descriptions-arent-showing-up-in-the-search-result-pages/. If Google is ignoring the meta description you have created for a page and creating it’s own description based off the page’s content, we would recommend creating a new meta description that reflect’s the page’s content. We have an article on how to write clean and meaningful meta description for your pages and posts by following the steps given in this guide. https://yoast.com/meta-descriptions/.

    Thanks for your answer @devnihil

Yes, in the case of the pages if the meta description matches, (it is something that I had not noticed).

It is also a rare thing, since all snippet have value content relative to the post in question, as discussed above in the explanation.

I give you a few examples:

    Post 1 – Snippet:
A sales plan is a strategic document that establishes the objectives and goals of a business. We tell you how to do one step by step [Includes TEMPLATE]

Post: it’s about how to make a sales plan
    Link: https://serviciosdigitalmarketing.com/como-hacer-un-plan-de-ventas-ejemples/

    Post 2: Snippet:
The marketing plan is a document that contains the strategy, objectives of a company. How to make a marketing plan step by step + [Includes TEMPLATE]

Post: it’s about how to make a marketing plan
    Link: https://serviciosdigitalmarketing.com/como-hacer-un-plan-de-marketing-ejemplo-plantilla/

If I could attach images this would be more explanatory…
PS: I regret that the content is displayed in Spanish. I know it doesn’t help to understand the explanation I give above.

Any explanation of why the snippet is not shown in the entries even if it is related content?

    Thanks again!! ??

    Hello @tmx94,

We are not sure we understand what you are referring to. As @devnihil asked, does the meta description in the page source match what you have entered in the Yoast SEO plugin?

You can actually provide screenshots to buttress your point. Do use an image sharing platform like Pasteboard.

    Thank you.
