Deciding the amount of text to be published? And a teplate?

Hi,
Is there’s a way to decide once for all the amount of text to be published from a nominated post obtained through RSS or bookmarklet?
And is it possible to build a template to always have the source edited in a certain way?

Have the length of the text been manually edited? And what about the “source” link?
Can it be obtined automatically?
