    Hello,
    My setup is:

    WordPress 2.86
    Mystique theme 1.46 swedish language

    sidebar-primary-sidebar

Now I want to change the width on the first (left) sidebar to 140 pixels so that the primary has more space

I’m a real newbie so please help me!

Snort, you probably will find this setting in your theme folder and the in the file style.css
There is another nice, leraning, way. Get Firefox and install the Addon called Firebug. You can then point anywhere in your site and in a box it shows which piece of css influences that part of that site.
Always make a safe copy of any file before changing it.

Thanks to both digitalnature and henkholland! they solved the problem.

Digitalnatures embarrasing (for me) easy step solved it in firefox but not in IE.
Installed firebug as henkholland told and got to see the changes which had to be made to style.css, IE6.css and IE7.css

    Thanks a lot to both!

Hello to you all, I also have a question about the sidebar and an overall malfunction with my layout actually. When I go to the Mystique settings, my settings look nothing like this. Instead they look like this. Really difficult to manage compared to what it’s supposed to be, can someone tell me what’s wrong with it. It was like that since i installed it, i didn’t mess with anything that could have corrupted it or whatever happened to it.
