    Hi there,

    First, thanks for your plugin.

I’m trying to set up a template that will show the featured image but the image just does not display. This is the code I wrote:

    <div style="max-width: 600px;">
    <p style="text-align: left;">{{FIRSTNAME}}, ja pots llegit una nova entrada a Rondaller:</p>
    <p style="font-size: larger; text-align: left; font-weight: bold;">{{POSTLINK-WITHTITLE}}</p>
    <p style="text-align: left;">{{POSTEXCERPT}}</p>
    <p style="text-align: center;"><a style="background-color: #0fb6cc; color: white; padding: 5px 10px; text-decoration: none; font-size: larger;" href="{{POSTLINK-ONLY}}" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">LLEGIR L'ENTRADA</a></p>
    <p style="text-align:center;">{{POSTIMAGE}}</p>

    </div>

And when I get the notification on my email, if I inspect the image, it has no “src” attribute even though the preview on the settings works correctly.

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you,

  • Hello Gerard,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Post notifications grab images from featured image. Can you please make sure the images in posts are uploaded as featured images and not inline images?

    Hi @vaksupport,

Yes, I did make sure that I upload an image as featured image, and still the image is not showing ??

    Hi @vaksupport,

I’m not sure why this topic has been marked as resolved when it isn’t. Could you please help me here?

    Hi @vaksupport,

Example of how this does not work: https://i.imgur.com/mV0qOlz.png. There is no src on the image.

    The post is this: https://www.rondaller.cat/2020/09/01/rajoles-de-lauca-del-senyor-esteve/

And this is the template: https://i.imgur.com/nWjWl3i.png

Why isn’t it working? The post has a featured image but it’s just not displayed with a “display: none;” CSS rule; your plugin should find it.

    Thank you,

    Hi Gerard,

We have tried to replicate the issue at our end but it is working as expected at our end.

It seems there is some plugin or theme conflict on your site. Can you please deactivate all plugins and reactivate them one by one and check which one is conflicting with Email Subscribers?

If that doesn’t help then you can check for any theme conflict. You can switch to default WordPress themes temporarily and check whether that resolves the issue or not.

Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.

    Hello Gerald,

We’re wondering if you have had a chance to look at our last message. We will be happy to help.

    Hi guys,

I didn’t have time yet, but it’s on my pending tasks ?? I’ll try that as soon as I can an update you.

    Thanks for following up.

    Hello Gerard,

Sure! Feel free to try when you get time.

We would like to add that the deactivation of plugins and switching the theme to default is one of the troubleshooting steps recommended by WordPress foundation for conflict related issues and that wouldn’t take much time.

We are marking this conversation as resolved. You are welcome to get back to us if you have any further queries.

    Hi @vaksupport,

Finally I got the issue solved! It turns out it was SG Optimizer, probably one of their front-end optimizations. I deactivated it and voila, working.

    Thanks for your tips.
