Hi, I’m trying to restore a site but I receive this message: “Website restore timeout”.

The zip is 65 MB, so I think it’s not something large for my web hosting. I am using google Cloud VM instance. After I received timeout, I can’t even access to my website. It completely block everything. Then I reset/reboot my VM instance.

The website is up with backup site but not functional. Only home page shows my website. And I once I click any menu. It directly go to my localhost domain.

Btw this is not my first time tho. It failed in the first time then I recreate a new VM. And this happen again. Now I dont know what to do

    Can you help me?

    Thank you

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Can you please send us a debug zip from the plugin’s Debug tab on the target site to help identify the problem?

    Hello
Thanks you for your response. The website IP is 35.247.10.129. But only home page is working. Every menu I click it directly go back to my localhost. WpVivid plugin suppose to change domain to my new IP, right ? And even If i want to go to my WP-Admin it directly goes back to my localhost. Im not sure debug file will help.

How can I send you my debug zip file ? I have downloaded it.

    Thank you

Here are some suggestions on the issues:

    1. Website restore timeout

Please try to increase the PHP max_execution_time on your server to at least 900s. Then try to restore again.

    2. Some pages are redirected to your localhost domain after migration

Before migrating a website, please make sure the siteurl, homerul, and other urls in the database of the site are consistent with the site’s actual domain name (displayed in the browser address bar).

    All the best,
