I’ve checked but don’t see an error when clicking on the Google Pay button, did the error show up after they click “Pay”? Did they make sure all the shipping/ billing details have been filled in properly in their browser?

Could you also include your **System Status Report**, it would help us to understand your site setup a bit better. You can find it via **WooCommerce > Status**. Select **Get system report** and then **Copy for support**. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your reply.

I’ve been using that test site and trying to narrow down what is happening here.

This is, unfortunately, a known bug with WooCommerce checkout fields and the Japanese address format used on Chrome-based browsers.

The reason for this is that the Google Pay modal box doesn’t have a City field but the WooCommerce checkout field is expected, that is why this error occurs.

The only workaround right now would be to disable the Payment Request buttons for the site.

I’m going to go ahead and mark this thread as Resolve as this is a known but and the report is public. There is no fix related to our extension and the fix either needs to come from the browser vendors like Google or a change in WooCommerce core making City not a required field for Japanese addresses.
