• Hi,

    I made an unfortunate mistake on my production website, resulting in the reset of all email customizer settings/templates…… (I pressed the Reset button!)
    I do have a backup of the site available that has the most recent settings/templates.
    So I restored that backup and exported the email customizer setings hoping to be able to import them on the production site to solve the issue.

    Unfortunately during the import of the exported settings I get
    “Error importing settings! Please check that you uploaded a customizer export file.”

    What is going wrong here (apart from me having reset the settings on production..)???

    Is there any other way to restore the settings from the retored backup to production?

    I don’t like the idea of having to re-define everything again manually….

  • Sorry to hear about that, I would have to see what is in our export file. I can’t recreate any problem exporting and importing so if you can link to the file so I can download and see what is in it I might be able to take a guess. Seems like something wrong there, might try exporting again to see if that works.
