Having two or more galleries (via [gallery]) on the same page

My question is simple: Is there any way to have several galleries on one and the same page, using the built-in gallery function?

I’m building a website for a band, and would like at least two galleries on the “photos”-page; one for live-pictures and one for press-ditos. But I can’t really tell if it’s possible by using the built in gallery (I’m using it together with jQuery Lightbox for Native Galleries since none of the gallery-plugins I’ve tried has satisfied my needs). When I try to add a second gallery to the same page, all the photos from the first gallery is shown as well (basically i get two galleries showing the same pictures). Is there any way around this?
