Use Postcode Field Instead of City Field

  • Hey guys,

    I need to “move” the cities from the City field to the Postcode field, I already try to replace the billing_city with billing_postcode. I can see the cities in the Postcode but If I change the states, the cities are not automatically updated in the postcode field. Is there a way to have the same behavior (City Field with Ajax) in another field like postcodes?

    Do I need to change in the plugin City to Postcode for example?

  • Is there a way to clone the city value into the zip code field? As far as I know the zip code could be any unique value or string, for example if the city is “Springfield” then the zip code could be the same after being cloned. Does that make senses?

    Perhaps a way to include the places into the Zone Regions drop-down menu on the Shipping Zones tab since it only shows the Country and the States.
