    Hi all,

Some time back I bought the Porto theme which comes with WooCommerce. The first thing I want to do is insert productS INto my store. To this end, I downloaded the sample product database from github. In this database, there are features like height, weight, etc. etc. which I do not need. Actually, the whole database is not applicable to my product range.
Is there any guidance as to how and what to change in the CSV file so that I can use it for my store, please? Or any guidance that can help me populated the CSV file so that I can import my products in the database quickly?

    Thanks,

    Naveen

    Hi @naveen73,

Your best bet here is to manually add one or more of your products to the store with all the data that is relevant to you.

Once that’s done, you can then export the products to a CSV document and use that as a template to enter the remainder of your products since only the relevant bits of information will be filled out in the CSV.

You can then reimport this to the site once you’re done.

    Luminis,

Thanks so much for your quick response. It is clear what to do. Just another question. how do I bulk remove the current products that are in the database?

    Thanks,

    Naveen

    Hey @naveen73

If you wanted to bulk delete them straight from the database you could follow this article and use the codes they suggest to clear all your products.

Another option would be just bulk deleting them from the Products page.
