Weird code in post

  • I’m having database issues with a site, and in looking back over posts, I noticed this code in one of the posts:

    Can you tell me what it means? I removed it. It looks like the database vomited there.

  • That’s JavaScript. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    The database was migrated from Expression Engine, which I’m guessing allows some javascript. Could the presence of javascript in the post bodies be something that is causing the database to wig out and periodically lose content?
