featured image does not appear

    Hi. Though I uploade a featured image to EACH “post” (different art media galleries) – it does not appear on ONE. Namely PERFORMANCE & VIDEO art. It DOES appear when I click at this “post”. BUT it does NOT appear at the homepage where ALL the “posts” are listed. OTHER “posts” do show their featured images on the homepage though. CHange featured image numerous time attempting to make it show on homepage – NO RESULTS?! Pls, DO correct/tell me what to do (in a simple language cause I am an artist not an IT). I PAY for wordpress website so I expect things to function for my money. Thank you.

    Hello @artistirena,

    It seems that you have to add featured images in the content of the post that’s why it is not appearing on all posts page. So you have to add images in the featured image position on the right sidebar of editing post.

    Hi. It is NOT “RESOLVED” at all! English is not my language AND I am an artist not an IT. BUT I think I have expressed my self clear enough & it seems you did not read my question properly. Other wise it is ME who does not undestand your “reply:
    I HAVE added featured image ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF EDITING IN ALL (!ALL!) POSTS JUST THE SAME. ALSO IN “PERFORMANCE & VIDEO art” !
    BUT!

    When I open the post itself “PERFORMANCE & VIDEO art” – I can see the featured image.

    BUT ON MY HOME page – ALL other “posts” DO SHOW their featured images
    YET “PERFORMANCE & VIDEO art” DOES NOT.

    Hello @artistirena,

    For audio, video & gallery post, you have to edit a post and on the right sidebar there is an option for “Post Format” which defaults is Standard but you have to change it with you post type (like if it is video post select Video).

    1 – you HAVE replied to MY MAIL AND you HAVE corrected it already!
    WITHOUT “changing the post format!…
    (I would still like to know what the problem respectively the solution were?)

    2 – has NOTHING TO DO WITH “video” this one – there are only photographs AND a link to vimeo.$

    3 – tried to change the post format from “standart” to “image” for my paintings post – see no changes.
    WHat does it give, pls, to change post format?
