Facebook share button doesn’t show preview, only the domain name.

  • Hi, when I try to share a post or a page from my website to Facebook, it shows only the domain name, without a preview (no post/page title, image nor description).

    Meanwhile, the post has a title, a featured image as well as description.

    I have also checked the source code and the Open Graph meta tags seem to be correct.

    The plugin was working fine untilt Wednesday (2020/06/24).

    I would appreciate any helpful response.

  • It could be that Facebook didn’t grab the newest details yet. So you can wait, or, even better, get this plugin https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/ where we implemented a different, more robust solution to ensure that the right pictures and texts will be shown.
