• When an order is processed through Moneris, I can see that the transaction went through in WooCommerce’s Order Notes, as it says “Moneris payment completed.” But it doesn’t seem to change the WooCommerce order status to “Completed”. How can I get it to do that automatically?

  • I am having the exact same problem….having to do it manually is out of the question for me.

I really hope they can get back to us or I will be forced to buy the WooCommerce plugin.

Ahhh, I think I realized where the issue is. I think I was getting confused by the difference between order processing and payment processing.

So I believe it is working properly.

Yes, it does process the payment, but in WooCommerce it leaves the payment as “Processing” status instead of switching it over to “Completed”, which I have to do manually. Hoping to avoid that extra manual step.

Because I don’t think that is the actual payment that is still processing, just the order itself.

You are probably in a similar situation as I am in which you don’t need to do anything else…but I suspect many online purchases do.

Which makes sense in case somebody bought something and they still need to ship it or send them more info, etc…then you manually complete it afterward those steps are done.

I was hoping that to set my online purchase to “virtual” that it would automatically change it to “complete” but it doesn’t. Not a big deal because you can just say select all and then change them all to complete in one big batch.

Yes, in WooCommerce if you make the item both virtual and downloadable (even tho mine isn’t) it sets it to completed automatically.

    Hope that helps!
