Gift Card Not Generate

    Hi, how are you? I created a gift card and went test… After many times, I did not received the email with the gift card code. The order is marked as completed and the gift card does not appear in the order. Do you think Is it some configuration that I’m doing wrong in the product? I don’t have the pro version, but I don’t think that’s what keeps me away from making the gift card work … I tried a few times. At first I thought it was the email, but I noticed that it is not generating the code in the order. So I think is something at configuration…

    I don’t know, help me please!

    Hi Marcela,

    Can you look at the Order Notes in the right hand box to see if the status changes from “Processing” to “Complete”?

    If it jumps right to “Complete” without changing status, that would explain why the gift card is not created. A solution is to go to Pimwick Plugins -> PW Gift Cards -> Settings -> Check the box “Send Immediately”.

    The order is complete, but does not generate. How is product set up? Do you have a step by step? I may be doing something wrong…

    What happens if you set the Order Status to “Processing” then save the order. After saving, change the order status to “Complete” and save the order.

    The order is complete in woocommerce. As a customer, I receive an email with order confirmation. In the place where the voucher code should appear, it appears: “Gift Card: Generated and sent by e-mail after the order is marked Complete.”

    Nut the order is complete…

    It sounds like your payment provider is skipping any processing and inserting the order as Complete. This will not trigger the gift card generation process.

    As a quick test, set the Order Status to “Processing” then save the order. After saving, change the order status to “Complete” and save the order.

    If the gift card is generated then you will need to check the box “Send Immediately” that can be found under Pimwick Plugins -> PW Gift Cards -> Settings.
