[Plugin: Event Calendar / Scheduler] cannot create recurring event

    Using plugin 1.2.1 with WP 2.8.6

    Problem: when creating an event, the “recurring” options are not displayed in the edit box.

    Observations:

    1. the WP-option in the database toggles correctly (1=enabled, 0=disabled) when recurring events is enabled in the plugin settings.
    2. I see both the dhtmlxscheduler_recurring.js and dhtmlxscheduler.js files loading.
    3. GET https://norwichag.org/wp-content/plugins/event-calendar-scheduler/events_rec.php?uid=1260405631757&timeshift=300 is happening
    4. No JavaScript errors show up in Firebug console (Firefox addon)
    5. I see the recurring part in the edit event box, but the applied css has it “display:none;”

  • Problem caused by conflict in js code and will be resolved with oncoming update ( will be released on December 14)

    If you need the fix ASAP – grab updated js files from https://support.dhtmlx.com/x-files/scheduler_2_1/dhtmlxscheduler_wp21_fix.zip

    Put in the fix, and it works perfectly! I am sure that after the release of the update many people will be thrilled. Thank you very much for making your great scheduler the best WP calendar plugin and all the work that it involves!

    How do you use those updated JS files? I put them in the “js” folder of the “events-calendar” plug-in and then uploaded it to wordpress but it still doesnt show the possibility for recurring events. Do I have to rewrite any code or rename those .js files? Need a little help…
