Captured entries without email notifications

    Hi Team,

    According to the recent weekly summary, this has been a few entries made via my form but there was 0 email notification. I have just completed another round of testing and the email notification function works fine. Since I am a lite user and couldn’t access the entries, how could I figure out why there is such a discrepancy between the entries provided by the weekly summary and the actual email notifications I am receiving?

    Hi @blyang23,

    If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely due to server configuration issues, and/or strict email spam prevention settings that are wrongly detecting some of the notification emails as spam.

    To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I have a similar issue.

    For example – My latest summary says I have had 10 form submissions, but I have had no emails showing what the submissions were.

    I have tried completing the form myself, a couple of times since receiving the latest summary and those contact form submissions came through Ok so possibly not a the SMTP issue?

    Email service providers use different metrics to combat spam, so some notification emails are received while others are not.

    The best way we know to fix email delivery issue like this is to install a SMTP plugin. When you get the chance, please give one of the recommended SMTP options a try.
