Featured Image won’t reach to edge of page

  • Hi, I cannot get my featured image to stretch across the screen on this page, no matter how I resize. What is weird is that I uploaded this same image a month ago (without a filter), same size, and THAT image does stretch across. So because of that, I think it has something to do with how the image is being uploaded. I’m afraid I messed with something in media settings to make it this way, but I don’t know if that’s the case or how to reset them to Dara default.

    The image seems to be very small – 652×435. Can you check if that’s the size of the image you are uploading?
    Also, have you added some custom CSS code to your theme?

    That is not the size I am uploading, but it seems that it is somehow getting resized in the upload process or something. I’m not sure. The photo I uploaded is 2560 by 1707. But inspecting the element on the page, it says “max-width 652.” I cannot for the life of me figure out where that max is coming from, as that is not the size of the photo itself.

    I do have some custom CSS on the page, but not much, and nothing that governs image sizing

    Can you temporarily remove all the custom CSS and see if everything works correctly then?
