• Hey, I was playing around with a theme I want to upload to make usre it works before I officially upload it.
After it was coded it was approved by W3C. However, after I added widget options from WordPress the coding in them was wrong and it was no longer accepted by W3C?
This seems to be a problem in the wordpress coding, can someone help me out with this?

  • What’s the error on the w3C Validator?

Maybe you could give us the link to the validator results?

I know the link to the validator… You didn’t include your site URL in the validator link…

I have a pretty confusing question about pages and types of pages to put in a theme for uploading is there a number I can call to talk to someone because I feel it would be easier in a real conversation?

You added code to your theme as recommended by wordpress? Or you downloaded and added widgets?

Some widgets do not validate. This is not a problem with ‘wordpress’, its a problem with the widget. People write widgets, not wordpress.

I’ve got some that do not validate, I just live with it. Pretty much your choices are accept it and move on, try to get in contact with the author of the plugin and have the issues fixed, or adjust the code of the plugin yourself

Its from the widget options I used that I saw in wordpress. You are saying thats not WordPress but the person who did the coding?
