Dashboard shows 1 extra outgoing internal link per post / Missed scheduled post
-
My posts are showing one extra outgoing internal link on the dashboard. In posts where I put one outgoing internal link, it counts two. And Ryte is telling me I have 24 internal no-follow links that I didn’t put. (I don’t even know how to add a no-follow link.) Looking at the Ryte report, it shows that the source document and target document are the same. Are my posts linking to themselves? I don’t understand.
Also, I have a missed scheduled post for the first time ever. Could it be related to the new theme? The time the problem started coincides with the time I switched to the Lovecraft theme by WordPress.com. I contacted Anders Noren, who is written as the theme developer, but he says I’m using the WordPress.com version that’s developed by Automattic, Inc., not him. He says it’s a different code base and he’s not familiar with it.
How do I fix this? I really like the theme so I don’t want to have to change it. (I also tried using the developer’s version, but I liked the WordPress.com version better.)
Thank you.
