• Firs of al thanks for this great plugin that gave me possibilities i was missing.

After updating my website i run in to this issue of warning showing on the frontend of my site in my projects where i use your plugin.

Warning : Illegal string offset ‘url’ in
    … /wp-content/plugins/elementor/includes/base/controls-stack.php
    on line 1201

I rolled back to Version 2.1.0 and the warning disappears.

It shows me this warning for each update (of your plugin) after version 2.1.0, but i would love to be able to update your plugin (and having it up-to-date) instead of finding a workaround and deleting it.

all my other plugins are up-to-date.
I′ve also seen this warning after a google-search and it′s shown on various other pages, so i wonder if they also use this plugin.

Any advice or solution to this warning would be a great help.

    Thanks in advance

I deactivated each separately and the conflict shows up just when the “Happy Elementor Addons” is activated.

what widgets are you using in the loop for that specific plugin?

    Thread Starter polypress

    (@polypress)

The Following widgets are used in the Loop:

    Featured Image
Image Carousel (Dynamic Tags “Post Image Attachement”)
    Post Title
    Post Excerpts
    Post Info
    Icon

I do not use any “Happy Elementor Addons” Widgets in the Loop.

I don′t know how i can/am allowed to reach out to you and perhaps send login-credentials and if that would/could help you to narrow down possibilities!?!

    tnx a lot in advance

It is not allowed we can get even banned for this kind of stuff. But you can leave the error so I can inspect it once again.

Thanks a lot for the advise – now i know what definitely not to do!

I′ve activated all my plugins again and also updated your plugin to the latest version (2.2.2) again, so that the error occurs again

It would be kind if it could be inspected, so i could get rid of the error asap.

You are using a plugin to make it linkable: when I inspect element I see:

    data-ha-element-link="link"

I think this is the culprit.

    Hi @dudaster ,
sorry for being back so late and letting you wait.

After looking into that again I′ve to admit that i do use “Happy Elementor Addons” in the loop. Very very sorry for that false information!

I use it in the loop to make the elements in it clickable and linked to the post.
It′called “Wrapper Link” and i do use the “dynamic tag” to link to the “Post URL”

    This…
I’m having the same error, wrapper link -> dynamic -> post url causes this. Any possible fix?

I too am using the “Wrapper Link” and use a “Dynamic Tag” to the “Post URL”.
I’m using it on a column and am receiving the same error.

Has a solution been found for this error yet?

same error need solution can anybuddy help me out with it
