    Hi,
One problem I’ve found is that the plugin seems to override “The No Right Click Images Plugin” allowing anyone who clicks on a photo marker to be able to copy/download/save the image. Is it possible to stop this or at least make it optional?

    Thanks

    Hi @gingernutter21,

Thanks for reaching out. Yes unfortunately Waymark is not currently compatible with this plugin.

It is however possible to achieve this by adding some JavaScript (and some CSS) to your site. I have put together an example of how to do this here.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Joe

    Hi Joe,
    Thanks for the prompt response.
I’ve looked at and tried your example but it only seems to partly work (for me at least).
The full size image still opens in a new window when I click on the info window and can then be copied or saved.
    Sorry to be a nuisance,

    Alan

    Hi Alan,

That’s strange, is that the case for the page I sent you, or only on your own site? If on your site please could you provide a link? What browser are you using and are you seeing any console errors?

I wasn’t able to see this on my end, but I did make a small tweak to the JavaScript that might do it.

    Please let me know.

    Cheers,

    Joe

    Hi Joe.
Yes I am seeing quite a few errors.
The browser is Firefox but the same problem occurs with Edge.
The only page I’ve applied your fix to is https://www.digital-images.me/2020/06/19/mating-damselflies/
Since I wrote the last query I’ve installed a different No-copy plugin ‘WP Copy Protection and no right click’ This allows me to check what’s happening without having to log out.
If you look at https://www.digital-images.me/2020/05/05/the-bridge-at-tintagel-castle/ I haven’t used the script you published but the right click is disabled on the gallery photos below the map. Maybe the change of No Copy plugin has caused that?

    Hi Alan,

It appears that the JavaScript hasn’t been added to the page correctly, possibly because it was added in a paragraph block. You can add it to your page using a Custom HTML block, ensuring you include the opening <script> and closing </script> tags.

If you want to add the JavaScript to every page you can do so using a plugin.

Let me know if you are still having issues.

    Cheers,

    Joe

    Hi Joe.

That seems to work. I couldn’t open and copy the full size images.
    Thanks again, it’s a great Plug-in.
