Problem with backup completing

    Hi, during last week I was optimizing my site because it was very slow.

    I installed litespeed cache and did several different steps which made my site faster.

    After that I Have A problem with backup which couldnt be complete. Scheduled backup wasnt albo Forced.

    Could You help me? Thanks!

    Hi,

    Please could you send us a copy of the backup log?
    This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
    Please copy the content in an online service such as Pastebin or upload to Dropbox and post the link here.

    Apologies for the late reply.

    Could you try to reduce the backup archive split size? To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 25Mb save your settings and run a new process.

    Does the backup successfully completes now?

    It seems that UpdraftPlus is still running. It would take some time for the backup to complete depending on the size and the number of files being backed up and the speed of your server.

    Can you check if the backup successfully completes now?

    I got mail that Backup is done after almost 12 hours. I was thinking and reading about possible problems. I have got installed Lite Speed Cache and start using cloudflare. Maybe that’s the reason of it?

    Hi @damianeiro

    UpdraftPlus is dependent on your server resources as we have on our FAQ here – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-much-resources-does-updraftplus-need/. You can try asking your host/server admin if it is possible to increase the server resources.

    You can also try deactivating Cloudflare and see if there is any difference as well.
