From Email Address

What? I do not understand the question. Can you maybe provide some context and try to explain what you are doing. That way I can try to understand and provide accurate infos asap, thank you.

Contact form field – your email – send by user

email address from – how to make this field fill up with user email enter in the form

It’s currently not an option.

May I ask why you would want to do that?

I use contact form 7 in the past

It’s easier to click reply from the form receive without a need to enter user email again

Yeah that’s how CFX plugin works. Each email that is sent uses the entered/submitted email address as the “Reply-To” field. So to reply to any contact email message, you just click the reply button and it is addressed automatically to the “Reply-To” address.

Try it and see ??

Here is it how it works normally on default WP setup:

When any user (including you) hits the submit button on the contact form:

* An email is sent to the “Email Address To” address given in the plugin settings
* The email that is sent will use the sender’s email address as the “reply-to” address

So when the recipient receives the email, they can click reply and the email will be addressed to the “reply-to” address.

If that is not happening in your case, there could be something (like some other plugin or theme) that is interfering with normal functionality.

Just use the default, which is the same as the Email Address “To” setting.

You mean install the criptext app on my own domain? Or try sending/receiving email via CFX and criptext?

If you have criptext account or email address you can add own domain to send / receive to check it too currently free with limited aias

No problem for me on other contact form just CFX perhaps the way you write the code for CFX or perhaps the criptext apps problem

Alright thanks for the infos. I have it on the to-do list for next update. Will check out how CFX emails work with the Criptext app. If there are any improvements can be made, will do it.
