Meta Slider with Page Builder

    Site is in development and not on live server. Just started having an issue with this. After creating a new slide show, I place it into a widget using Site Origin Page Builder. (Theme is Vantage). If there is no row above the meta slider within the PageBuilder framework, then the slider shows up fine; however, if you add a row above the slider (can be an empty row or one with a widget) the slider no longer appears, and in fact doesn’t appear to be anywhere on the page.

    Are you adding MetaSlider using a shortcode?

    Do you know if it’s in the HTML at all? Or are there any errors in the broswer console?

    Thank you for getting back with me. The website that is live online is a hand-coded PHP website. I am redeveloping the website in WordPress format that is on a test server that is not hosted live. I did received the following error message in console.

    (index):131 Uncaught TypeError: $(…).nivoSlider is not a function
    at metaslider_2292 ((index):131)
    at timer_metaslider_2292 ((index):148)

    Hi,

    That error suggests that the NivoSlider script isn’t found. Make sure it’s enabled under Advanced Settings, and check the source code that it’s found.

    You might have to disable other plugins to check if something else is conflicting.

    I’m testing plugin conflicts and its any popup making widget. Popup Maker and WP Popups are the issue. If I deactivate them, the slider plays. If I activate them, it doesn’t show up. Neither popup plugin is active at the same time, but if I activate either one of them, the slider doesn’t appear.

    If you switch to FlexSlider is there any change? I can try to install Popup Maker but won’t have time until the end of the week.
