Display customers order number (1st, 2nd, 3rd…)

On the Order Details page, there is a link to “View other orders” for a particular customers, as seen here:

That page will show you if this is a first time customer, or if they have previous orders from your store.

Thank you that is helpful. Ideally, I was wondering if there would be a way to display a total number of orders on the order detail page to avoid having to click into that link each time.

Adding a feature to show the summation of the number of orders from a particular customer would require custom code, which isn’t something I’m able to help with. I did search around for a plugin, but wasn’t able to find one that adds the exact feature you are asking for.
