Cannot register with miniOrange from Pre configured miniOrange app popup

    Get error message

    “Please match the format of Email. No special characters are allowed”

    when attempting to register with miniOrange from the Pre configured miniOrange app popup.

    1. The error message is misleading – there are no illegal characters in the email
    2. The problem occurs when the TLD of the email address is more than 3 characters in length. ICANN permits many TLDs greater than 3 characters in length, so many email addresses will be unable to register

    The problem code is in module view/config_apps/mo_openid_config_apps.php (7.3.8) at lines 478 and 553.
