Cannot optimize the Wordfence Web Application Firewall

Hi @wfgerald and thank you for your answer.
I passed through the instructions: my PHP is 5.6 (so it is correct).
I searched for auto_prepend_file in wordfence system info and I found

directive local value master value
auto_prepend_file no value no value

I tried to repeat the configuration process several times, but there still appears “no value” in there.
What should I do next?

PS. not sure if you need this info but the “Loaded configuration file” is /usr/local/php73/lib/php.ini

It seems there’s either a problem with the auto_prepend_file function, it’s possible that it isn’t enabled. Can you please reach out to your host, share this, and let me know what they say?

my host added the following rule to php.ini file in the document root folder:
auto_prepend_file = ‘/home/trave239/public_html/wordfence-waf.php’
Now the plugin seems to work properly (there is no longer the warning about the firewall configuration)
