I’m thinking if there are any way when the user received the accepted booking, that shows QR code or Barcode for, when he come to the event, check it with a QR or barcode machine so we can check it one time and desactivate it, to avoid the people resend his mail to friends to have free pass, or print it 1000 times, having 1000 free tickets pass.

    Thanks.

  • Hi Dreagnout, you may find the latest release note comment relevant…

It basically says that the feature is work in progress.

    Hope that helps.

How much I need to wait to get it? We have hurry about this feature, we are looking other options too, but this plugin is so important for us.

I am not connected with the development team, so this is just my opinion… I don’t think there is a beta available for the next release yet, so in my experience, it is likely to be measured in months, rather than weeks, before the QR functionality is available.

If it helps, I’m in a similar situation to you. For the project I am working on I have decided that wp-events has enough valuable functionality today to make me want to stick with the plugin, rather than switch. So, I have decided to manage the expectations of my customer accordingly.

Of course, your project constraints may require you to make a different decision.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello,

Currently, EM doesn’t have a Barcode/QR code feature. However as mentioned from the link https://wp-events-plugin.com/blog/2020/02/05/events-manager-5-9-7-2-pro-2-6-7-2/ there will be a feature in future. However currently We can’t give any ETA on when this will be available.
