Sorting and Ordering Archives

    Hello,

    How can i use this plugin to custom sort and order custom post types in an archive page.

    If i use the “Posts” widget it’s showing but not when i use the “Archive” widget”.

    We will look into adding support for the Archive posts widget. For the time being, please use the posts widget. They are essentially the same thing.

    Thank you for your fast response.

    In my case i’m creating an Archive Template for listing custom post which are under taxonomies and i need to sort those post by the value of a custom field.

    When i use the “Posts” widget in the archive template it shows all post regardless of the taxonomy.

    Under the source option there is an option to include “by term”. Choose this and then start typing your term name

    Yes i saw it but it’s not solving the problem i’m facing. I want it to be dynamic.
    Ex:
    I have a CPT called “Schools” and a Taxonomy called “City”.
    I create an Archive template for the Taxonomy “City” so whenever i click on a city it shows “Schools” of that city.

    The only way (i found so far) to do this dynamically is by creating a Archive Template using the “Archive” widget but i can’t sort the posts (schools) in any way.
