Need to clear out huge DB tables

  • There are three database tables — metadata, occurrences and options — that have grown monstrous since installing activity log a while back. I am strongly tempted to delete them from the database since I removed the plugin. Can I do this safely? I’m thinking that the first two might be okay but not the options…is that correct?

    Just writing again to say that I was able to safely remove those three db tables. The site is running much faster now that the database isn’t bogged down by 7.8 Mb of unneeded overhead! Thanks so much – it’s a great plugin.

    Just as an FYI for others. There’s place in Activity Log > Settings > General to Reset the Database and below it, it says, Warning: Clicking this will delete all activities from the database.
