I have a page that, when the visitor clicks a link to bring up a modal box and then goes to mouse over that modal box, the wp zoom ‘bleeds through’. You can see the effect here: https://i.imgur.com/8hAzFuy.png

The modal box in question has a z-index of 9999 and the wp zoom has 999, so that shouldn’t be the issue.

Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Note: Can’t link to the site because it’s on a dev environment right now.

The only reasonable explanation would be the z-index CSS rule. Otherwise, I would need to see the page in order to research and maybe find the cause.

    Hello.

Thinking about it some more, I realized that would be the only reasonable explanation, so I dug slightly further. Turns out the z-index I had set to 9999 was on an inner container, not an outer container which also needed a higher z-index. So yea, that solved the issue ??

Ok, I’m glad that worked out ??
