Cloned a live WordPress, only the front page of localhost site is working

Attempted to clone a live site to blank localhost.

At Step 3:
WARNING: DATABASE ERROR: database error write

In the “installer-log.txt”:
**ERROR** database error write ‘Query was empty’ – [sql=;;…]

On cloned localhost:
Pages, posts, media are there.
Front page is working.
Any other pages/posts show “Not Found
The requested URL (slug name) was not found on this server.”
