How to edit custom message for resharing of posts to social media?

    Hello. I unpublished, edited and am now republishing a post at a later date. The problem is that I can’t change the custom message that will appear in Facebook and Twitter sharing when the post gets republished. It’s still the old custom message, which is no longer relevant so I need to change it. But it’s grayed out.

    Does anybody know how to do this?
