external links within modal not working

Hi,

I have your plugin working fine to show posts in a modal.

I now need to show links to other pages in the modal.

These links are added through ACF custom fields. The text shows in the module, but the url link has been stripped.

The links work ok in a normal view i.e. not the modal (refresh the modal page to view non-modal version)

Any ideas how to show the links in the modal?
