Optimole and cloudfare(or other)

    Hello, i’m looking to know if it’s possible to use optimole with an other cdn service like cloudfare or other.

    If i use optimole with their own cdn, the image will be stock on your cdn and deleted from my website server?

    -If yes, they can’t create conflict with other cdn service, because no image to serve for cloudfare on the server.In this case optimole work for the image and cloudfare for the other thing.
    -If not, does the optimole and cloudfare will serve the image? They can create conflict at this time?
    I search to understand what’s the thing will work if i use both service at the same time, and it’s confuse for me.

  • Hello,

    You can use Optimole alongside other CDN services, but images will be served from our CDN for the service to work. You still have to keep your original images on your server as we use them for other optimisations if required or to redirect back in case there are problems with the service or the quota is exceeded.

    So you can have images being served from Optimole and other static assets like CSS and JS served from CloudFlare.

    As a bonus note we will soon offer the possibility to serve CSS and JS through our service so you will be able to use only Optimole if you like.

    Thank for your clear answer. it’s sound very good, have a quality image optimization with faster and adaptative delivery + CSS and JS in the same and unique platforme…
    Does the offer will be like the actual optimole with free and 100+ paid destination? how many time for coming?

    Hello,

    You can use it out of the box we have good compatibility with Cloudflare, just make sure to not overlap settings. For example we now offer the possibility to serve CSS and JS through our plugin, if you want to use CloudFlare you should have that option disabled.
