WooComerce Randomly Removing All Variations For Some Prodcuts

    Hello! I have a woocomerce store that import products from other websites. The products get imported fine and everything is set! After a few hours, woocomerce randomly deletes all the variations for some products which cause its stock to go to 1. My question is why is woocomerce randomly removing variations on its own? Sorry for the repeat thread, I think I posted the first one in the wrong section.

    Hi @mproject12,

    I understand you have integrated your WooCommerce site with other websites and after your product imports from other sites, the stock is changed in Woo automatically.

    Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status to understand how your site is configured? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    In order to give you the best possible answer, it would be great if you can share with us more information about how your site is integrated with other sites and what type of other sites are we talking about? Are you using a POS or other tools to manage your inventory?

    Yes, I am using another plugin to update price and stock count! Once I update with that plugin, all variations come back. But few hour later, they disappear.

    I’m sorry for the delay in getting back. I’m unfamiliar with how Aliexpress Dropship for Woocommerce: by MA-Group plugin works and why the stock quantity is deleted after few hours from WooCommerce.

    I recommend reaching out the to plugin developer for more information and if there are any settings that can stop this behavior.

    The plugin is not the issue. It only updates the price/quantity/variations if I mass update using a setting. The plugin does not auto update, I have to do it manually. Woocomerce is auto removing variations.

    Hi there,

    WooCommerce doesn’t usually remove products all by itself without some sort of action. As you have a plugin that imports and edits your products, it seems to be a likely source of such an action.

    You can test that by creating a duplicate of your site on a staging site, and doing a conflict test to eliminate that plugin and/or others, to find what is causing this behavior. Here’s a link to docs that will help you with that:

    I’m not sure what do you mean by no plugins can manage the variations. Can you tell us which other plugins did you try and what are you trying to achieve? Maybe we can find an alternative solution.
