    Hi,

Every time I update theme or other plugins and recheck files, some assets disappear so I have to come back to the page and check if they are there, if not, repeat that until I see them and optimize assets. Is it normal behavior? I have to turn on some buttons over and over again.

    Hello @sailors

    I trust you’re doing well!

After an update, the plugin or a theme can change their structure so re-checking Asset Optimization needs to be done in this case.

The Hummingbird can do this automatically if page caching is enabled, please go to Hummingbird > Caching > Settings and ser File Detection to Automatic.

    Please see this screenshot:

    I hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply. I leave the HB Caching off since I also use Cloudflare’s Cache Everything page rule, thought it would conflict but correct me if wrong.

So, with that HB Automatic file Detection off there’s no solution?

    Hello @sailors

    I hope all is well!

In this case, I’m afraid, the Asset Optimization cache will need to be cleared manually after every update made in a site from a plugin or a theme. And please make sure to re-check for a new asset from Hummingbird > Asset Optimization.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
